Mosspaul Surrounding Area Mosspaul is set in splendid isolation adjacent to the A7 Historic Borders Route to Edinburgh approximately 10 miles north of Langholm and 12 miles south of Hawick. The city of Carlisle is approximately 35 minutes drive to the south, whilst Edinburgh lies approximately 1 1/2 hours drive north. The Border towns of Jedburgh, Kelso, Melrose, Selkirk and Galashiels are all within easy driving distance, and between them offer a wealth of interesting places for the tourists to visit. The Berwickshire coast some 55 miles to the east offers spectacular beaches, coastal walks and bird watching opportunities. There is an abundance of sporting and cultural events throughout the year in the Scottish Borders.
