The Teviot Room

The Teviot room is situated on the ground floor immediately adjacent to the ramped disabled accessible entrance to the building.

Having been recently refurbished, the room offers well designed, comfortable accomodation for any disabled, or elderly guests.

The Teviot bedroom is fully carpeted, and has thermostatically controlled heating, to suit individual requirements. It has a colour TV~Video, (stock of videos to borrow) and it's own tea and coffee making facilites.

There are two beds in the Teviot room, both of which are electrically adjustable, with easy to use hand controllers.

There is also a wheelchair height cupboard, with hanging space and storage.

The Teviot has it's own En~suite wet room, featuring an open corner shower with two drop-down rails, a wheelchair height wash basin, with a user friendly tap, ane a  standard height toilet with two drop-down rails. The wet room is large enough for easy wheelchair access, with plenty of room for both guest and carer.

The Teviot bedroom and the wet room both have easy to use door handles and numerous handrails.

We appreciate the need for any disabled or elderly guests to feel safe and comfortable when staying away from home, and we feel that we have been able to achieve this with the Teviot room.
